While the second one is still yet to be achieved, I get to work on the first one every day through my role at 1% for the Planet. I get the joy of working with some of our key business members across industries and geographies all with a common goal: to make the greatest positive impact for our people and planet.
The joy of seeing tangible impact on the ground is one of the reasons why I migrated from the sparkling diamond industry to the nonprofit sector. There is a lot of potential to harness capitalism as a force for good. This is what motivates me to be involved in this niche innovative intersection for over the last 7 years.
In my free time I love to stroll and find new blooming flowers in the neighborhood, make some paper crafts, and discover new vegan dishes. It is also why I created Veganism101.com as a passion project to provide concise, research-based information in simple terms.
