The gravitational pull of mission-driven brands has shaped and inspired my career path. Before joining the Burgeon team in 2019, I spent a decade as a freelance marketer partnering with U.S. and international brands to develop authentic brand identities, guide clients & employers to effective communications solutions, and achieve lasting Direct-to-Consumer Marketing & Sales results. Along the way, I discovered that the projects that fueled me the most were clients whose products or services had a direct, enduring, positive impact on people or the environment. It’s a privilege to lead Burgeon’s sustainability efforts in addition to my role directing the brewery’s marketing, creative, and communication strategies. There is exciting work ahead (and craft brews to be enjoyed!) along the path to net zero. I am eager to help further cultivate our community’s excitement for the climate movement alongside Burgeon's continued growth as a brand and business.

Our mission is focused on state-of-the-art beer that explores new frontiers of technique, flavor, and aroma. Deep roots symbolize the vibrant community we’ve cultivated since opening the brewery in 2016 and have grown with the addition of taprooms across San Diego. The rays in our logomark represent our commitment to protecting the environment and our profound love of the outdoors.
