The Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation (BRPF) is committed bringing people together to protect the natural, cultural and historic resources of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Parkway—a unit of the National Park Service--is 469 miles long and encompasses more than 84,000 acres of the highest biological diversity found outside the tropical rainforests but is threatened due to more than 20 years of decreasing federal budgets for our national parks. The Blue Ridge Parkway has no entry fees by federal mandate and thus must depend on partner organizations like BRPF.
