Development Program Manager
Leah is a 2009 alumna of Warren Wilson College, with a B.A. in Environmental Education and Environmental Policy. During her time at school, she worked in the Service Learning Office coordinating volunteers with local non-profits. Leah has organized sustainability workshops around bee keeping, rain water harvesting, and wild food and fermentation. Along the way she spent a year building traditional wooden sailboats and shaker furniture in Maine, as well as implemented edible and medicinal landscapes in Asheville, NC. She finds inspiration in permaculture principles and loves stacked functions and crenulated edges. As Leah makes the Mad River Valley home, you can find her in every swimming hole along the Mad River, and every Wednesday at Valley night.
