Two-time World Freeskiing Women’s Champion and the first person to ski from the highest point on each of the seven continent’s, aka the Seven Summits, Kit DesLauriers lives in Teton Village, WY with her husband Rob and their two young daughters. Crediting the Tetons as an inspiration for her skiing, Kit says there is no place else that she would rather live.
Recently inducted into the Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame, Kit is also a member of The North Face Global Athlete Team. In addition to being a 1% for the Planet ambassador, Kit is a member of the Protect Our Winters Riders Alliance and volunteers locally in Jackson Hole as a board member at Keep Yellowstone Nuclear Free.
On a national level Kit advocates for complete protection of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in the Brooks Range of Alaska, a place where she has twice journeyed and says is her favorite place to visit.
