On Wednesday, October 7th, 1% for the Planet member, Earth Balance will host a very special networking event at their headquarters in Boulder, CO. Come and learn about how the growing 1% for the Planet movement is working at the intersection of business and the environment to create impact both in the local community and beyond. Meet and mingle with 1% for the Planet’s CEO, Kate Williams, while hearing from 1% for the Planet member, Earth Balance and their selected local nonprofit partner, Growing Gardens. This is an incredibly exciting moment for 1% for the Planet. We are poised to build our current momentum into a new chapter of growth, engagement, and positive impact for the planet in Colorado. Wine and Walk on the Wild Side

Your Denim. Our Water

1% for the Planet and Patagonia Burlington invite you to, “Your Denim. Our Water”, a curated art show on Thursday, August 27th from 5:30 – 8:00PM in Burlington, VT. We challenged our community to create art that both incorporates filthy denim and showcases what Vermont’s water means to them. People shared their passion by drawing or painting on denim, photographing denim, or sculpting a piece of denim to demonstrate their connection to water in Vermont. On Thursday, September 10th, 1% for the Planet member, Patagonia, will host a networking event for the greater Chicagoland community, with a special emphasis on clean water initiatives. If It’s Broke, Let’s Fix it!
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be hanging out with Patagonia’s Worn Wear tour this weekend! The Worn Wear Wagon, ‘Delia’ will be set up at Essex Farm (9/11) and in front of Patagonia Burlington (9/13) fixing zippers, rips, tears, buttons and pulls – whatever it takes to keep your favorite Patagonia piece performing. All Patagonia gear will be fixed free of charge, on a first come, first serve basis.
We’ll be displaying select artwork from the Your Denim. Our Water. exhibit – so stop by either location to get your threads fixed and check out some awesome denim infused artwork.

As Kate Williams is traveling to France to continue her CEO tour, our 1%ftP French base is organizing a networking event in Paris. 1% for the Planet Celebration in San Luis Obispo
