Michelle Ferguson is executive vice president of marketing for Clif Bar & Company. A foodie, an athlete and a mom, Ferguson’s inspiration to create great tasting food that is good for people and respectful of the environment has yielded such trailblazing brands as CLIF Kid®, a complete line of organic, great-tasting and portable snacks for kids; CLIF MOJO®, the sweet and salty trail mix bar; and LUNA® Protein, the first high protein bar for women.
Known for her unique approach to brand development and marketing, she has spoken at leading business schools including UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, the Presidio School of Management, and the Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business at Mills College. Ferguson joined Clif Bar & Company in 1999 as director of consumer research. Prior to Clif, she directed research at Gatorade and served as managing director at M.B.L. Taiwan.
