Muddy & Perfect at Kids’ Cross in Hillsboro

Sunny days and Kids’ Cross are always a nice combination. At the same time, there is something about overcast skies, a chill in the air, and mud (on the course, on one’s bike, on oneself) that make cyclocross great. Luckily, Kids’ Cross was just that this past weekend in Washington County: muddy and perfect.

New faces and Kids’ Cross veterans alike rode the flat, twisty course. A great water feature, compliments of the WD-40 Washing Station, added to the effect.

A big thanks to our sponsors at Lancaster Engineering and Cable Huston, and our organizers at Speedvagen Racing Machines and Cross Crusade, for making Kids’ Cross possible.

This Weekend at PIR (Infield Course)

Kids’ Cross returns to the Portland International Raceway this Sunday, November 10th. The forecast is for cooler temperatures (40s to low 50s), with a chance of showers. Join us for Kids’ Cross, fall temperatures, and fun. Registration will be next to the Cross Crusade start line, next to the Pits at the end of the expo tents.
