1% for the Planet CEO to Speak at SXSW Eco 2013
Austin, TX — On October 7, sustainable brands and industry leaders will come together for the South by Southwest (SXSW) Eco 2013 in Austin, Texas. This year, Terry Kellogg, 1% for the Planet’s CEO, will speak at SXSW Eco, joining a diverse and passionate group of speakers and panelists from around the world.
Terry will speak on Tuesday morning alongside Bryan Walsh, senior editor for Time Magazine, and Daniel Katz, The Overbrook Foundation’s environmental program director. The event, entitled “Together We Stand”, will examine the strategies and opportunities for collaboration between the non-profit and corporate communities for advancing positive action. The discussion will start at 9:30 a.m. and Kellogg believes SXSW Eco will be the perfect setting for this type of conversation, as the event brings together environmental leaders from all over the world.
“It is a unique way to engage with people within the industry, discuss solutions, and have honest and thoughtful conversations about what is working and what isn’t,” said Kellogg. “I’m honored to speak alongside Bryan and Daniel and play a part in this year’s show.”
