1% FTP Members LOVE BLUE at Outdoor Retailer

Two of our favorite 1% for the Planet members–Sunskis and Patagonia Footwear–received props in Outdoor Retailer’s Summer Best of Booth competition last week.

Sunski Sunglasses was voted Environmental Best of Booth for their 10 x 10 cardboard castle. The entirely recyclable setup is eye-catching (excuse the terrible pun) and set the standard for simple elegance and chill vibe. Nice work Michael and Tom! Make sure you stop by and say hi to them the next time you’re at the show.

Patagonia Footwear got a shout-out for an artistic spin on their 40th anniversary. To celebrate four decades, the Patagonia team took a trip to a local art studio, broke out the paints and each created their own interpretation of a Barbara Rowell photograph, “Heading to Fitzroy.” How often do you see original art in trade show booths?
